What's the deal with the NEC edition of displaynote? Presumably it is restricted to one install for a device using the NEC projector (or display etc) that it came with?
Any restriction of installing on additional laptops etc that may be interchangeable with the said projector?
Does it differ functionally to the regular Displaynote edition?
Documentation is lacking.

NEC support answered the question:
The licence key you have received with your NEC Projector is usable for any PC/Mac you want. The purchased projector don't need to be connected to the PC/Mac you use the software.
You can register the licence key in the software and than you can use the login even on different machines. The only regimentation is that only one login can be active at the same time and with the presenter licence you have only 2 connections (guests with tablets, smart phones etc.) possible.
