Looking to replace a Smart UF55
We have an out of warranty Smart UF55 projector that apparently has an iffy chip in it now. Thoughts are on replacing it with something new. Been quoted close on £2K for replacement with a UF75 installed. That seems a heap high to me. Anyone in the Wiltshire area recommend another supplier who might be able to supplying fit a decent bit of kit as a replacement please?

I wouldn't touch a SMART UniFi projector ever again!
Replaced all of our Unifi35 models, although we still have some Unifi55's left.
1 has recently gone faulty and it is getting replaced with a Hitachi-D27WB Short Throw Projector from Roche AV (~£580)
They offer 5 Year Parts & Labour Warranty
3 Year Lamp Warranty
Free Spare Lamp Voucher
and comes with a Bespoke Mounting system so it can be attached to the existing Unifi55 projector boom arm; so no more drilling, poles leads etc. required.
Elsewhere, we went with the Casio's XJA140, as many classrooms already had ceiling mounted projectors.
But with the very good warranties supplied by RocheAV, we also use Hitachi A220's as they are cheaper but you still get 5 years peace of mind whichever way you look at it!

Hi @Specktechy As @MKK-IT saidn, the Hitachi CP-D27WN short throw projector is a good replcment - We can help you with that if you like? As we work with hitachi we can save you money on the price of £580 from online stores. Most hitachi projectors come with a 5 year warranty for education so you will also get that direct from us.
If you would like further infomation please send me a PM with your details and i shall help you on this.
Hope to speak Soon
