    AverMedia F30 VGA Passthrough Issue

Has anyone else here have one of the new AverMedia F30 visualisers? Have just got one to replace a CP135 and it seems that the unit will only pass-through the VGA signal from a laptop when the unit is powered on. If it is left on standby you get nothing. This is of course different to the CP range, and has lead to a number of "My laptop doesn't show on the projector" messages.

Yup, we have a mix of both models. It's a pain, but user education has (mostly) sorted it, other than the few who need showing multiple times for it to sink in.

Glad it's not just me then. Just is a Royal PITA when the hardware changes. We now have AverMedia units that pass-through no matter what, those that need to be powered but in standby and now powered and on.
