Smartboard: Reading Old Files with New Software
Can somebody help out?
Some teachers created files with Smartboard 9.5 software and they inform us that they are unable to read these files now they have been upgraded to v 11.
Can anyone shed any light on this and is there an add on to make these old files compatible?
Cheers again

With SMART Notebook 11 software, you can open the following:
l .notebook files (the default file format for SMART Notebook 9.5, 9.7, 10 and 11 software)
l .xbk files (the default file format for SMART Notebook 8, 9.0 and 9.1 software
Is it an old .xbk file that's been kept? If so you'll need to open it through the menu I guess, not double clicking sometimes.
If it's a newer version .notebook there's no reason it won't open, so guess you'll need to grab the file and test it.
