Optoma EX530 Projector

Hi

we have an Optomo Ex530 Projector, the power light keeps flashing green and will not turn on. Have changed the bulb, no change.
Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong with it?

Having had problems with the same model before I would hazard a guess that the problem is with the lamp door sensor (power light flashes 7 times quickly followed by a longer pause then is repeated).

I fixed this by fishing out the sensor switch (which had broken away from the casing) and taped it down then stuffed it back down in it's hole (I wouldn't bother trying to reattach it properly), I did this by completely disassembling the projector as I didn't know what I was looking for at the time, however you should be able to get at the switch by just removing the lamp door and using some tweezers or small pliers.
