    HDMI and phono cable

Does anyone know if such a cable exists? We need to connect a DVD player up in the hall and it has only a HDMI output but we need it to use HDMI to the projector but split off the audio to phono connectors to connect into the hall sound system.

Not a cable - HDMI carries digital signals, so audio will need to be processed to an appropriate analogue signal. You can get small boxes to do that - this for example.

Has your projector got audio out? It means another cable but might be the cleanest solution.
