Hurrdurr.. U10's, not U15's. I cannot techsupport today. I have the dumb.
The staff machines in one of my schools have recently been upgraded to Windows 7 and there's a spot of bother with the visualisers. Aver U10's. I can't explicitly confirm they did work on Windows XP but the census between the staff is that they did.
Odd thing is, Windows 7 is picking them up. It's there - not displaying any errors - in Devices and Printers, but the associated programs seem to think there isn't one plugged in.
I've tried with and without the power cable (The website says they're completely USB powered, but still have a dedicated mains lead?)
I've installed the latest drivers.
I've used alternate USB ports.
Has anybody encountered similar problems before? The ones we use at my other school haven't (although the same brand, different model) and the drivers do say they are compatible with Windows 7.
Their website doesn't fill me with lots of hope when the U10 FAQ has one of the contacts as "some firstname.lastname@example.org"
