Which of these 3 projectors should I get for our classrooms?

The company we use for our smartboards and projectors have given us a choice of 3 projectors.

The school normally use NEC but out of the 3 offered it has a lower lumens.

1. Epson EB-X11 projector Epson EB-X11 review | Expert Reviews

3. NEC M230X NEC M230X projector

I would personally go for the Epson all day long - great price (300 ex vat) and quality. We also have a few M230Xs which work hard too.

If going for bulb powered projectors then its Epson unless you've some specific requirement that can't be met by them or you absolutely have to go for "cheapest" option

Id be interested to know why that is - probably they make less money on them!

X11 - easy enough to fit yourself too!

definately get one with a 3 year lamp warranty, we had the same and after 1.5 years the lamp blew, they sent out another the next day.

Only had this question about 2 weeks ago.. we have just bought our 7th Epson X11 last week to add to our slowly growing inventory.

Teachers love them. They are great units and after cashback we're paying £255+VAT each. We have been only buying Epson for the last 10 years+.. would take something very incredible to make us look elsewhere.

Lets remember who is the customer here....

If they don't provide them then its time to either switch supplier or get the to provide them.

Personaly I hate the idea of 'preferred' suppliers - yes we have a single company I will call if I need 10 keyboards pretty quick but anything over £500 will go to at least 2 companies.
