Unifi 35 keeps shutting down
Hello everyone,
We Have a UNIFI 35 combi board, one of our teachers asked me to look at the projector as the bulb keeps turning off every few seconds. Have cleared the vents of dust and debris but every time it is turned on it it displays for about five seconds then stops all the board lights remain lit but we have to turn it off at the wall socket and when turned back on again image goes after 5 seconds there is not even a dim glow from the bulb.
Any ideas / thoughts greatly appreciated

It could need an new lamp or maybe a fan failure? are there any status lights flashing on the projector?
You may find some information here about troubleshooting the unifi 35 projector

No flashing lights or anything apart from the lack of image it all appears to be in working order, lamp hasnt done many hours just a bit shy of 1500.
the fans are quiet and can only be heard by standing on a chair and putting ear up close.

3rd October 2012, 02:31 PM #4 possibly a faulty temp sender... or maybe a faulty lamp. either way it'll probably be expensive to repair!
If it's out of warranty i reckon it might be time for a new one!
