Apple TV Dropouts
We're using Apple tv 3s for airplay mirroring of ipads, however the ATVs keep dropping out / losing wifi connection. Looking around it's a common problem without a common solution, there's no itunes installed anywhere and they are on their own vlan connected to a dedicated firewall, anything I can disable or try? We use netgear APs.

It will fail trying to use Apple TV's across a VLan or Subnet, Apple TV needs internet access, you can now set them up via an XML Profile for a proxy but you need Apple Configurator to do this..
Apple TV: How to configure a proxy using profile

The vlan is connected to a proxy that doesn't authenticate (transparent) but has filtering so might be that, can I configure the proxy info using a pc ? (we have no osx machines)
Just tried updating throught the wireless and it worked fine, updated one to latest firmware - see if there's any more dropouts today.
