So, I've planned the game, decided on how it's going to flow and sketched out screens/characters and now I'm on the making "proper" art for it.

So far, I've made 1 screen... and it's taken me about 3 days.

This is that screen.

Well... I say it's the screen... it's about 60% of the screen. There's some more stuff to go into it. But that stuff is being done a different way...[/mysterious]

"What is this mysterious room?" I hear you ask... Well, it's nothing special.

Only the room which decides whether you get the super cool bonus item or not. [Or one of them... there's a few ways to fail getting it.]

Next update: Maybe you get to see a/the character or "the beast of 1000 Nyans."... Maybe. If you do all of your homework and clean your room, I'll think about it.

Side note: If anyone can suggest/link some good, FREE, 2D animation software, I'd be much obliged.

Not that much progress, to be honest...

I've been trying to sort out our upgrade plan for the school's computers and playing [and finishing] Skyward Sword...

I suddenly realised just how much work this is going to be...

I know that feeling. So much work at the moment to try and get Windows 7 ready (including SCCM for FEP and new print servers and testing all the software and setting up all the 2k8R2 servers and blah blah blah) and it gets to the end of an evening and I sit down and think... meh.

But I suspect that if I never get used to just getting on every day, no matter how busy I've been and how tired I am, I will forever have that excuse and never finish anything. Even if it's just half an hour a day, the habit of doing something every day has got to be better than perpetual procrastination.

I know I need to force myself to do work and stop putting it off... It's just the fact that I want to do the coding, but I have to spend way more time than I planned to getting resources sorted.

[Resources = animations, backgrounds, objects, characters, etc]

HA! That's actually quite awesome.

I just printed it out.

I may re-re-restart the project... I've pretty much lost what I was doing. [As in, I have no clue what I was supposed to be doing.]
