  2. Roll Call with Extra Column

    "Yes, we know Progresso can easily take registers, but we want a paper version because we've not given our teachers access yet."

    A good point made here, and Progresso's roll call maintenance feature makes quick work of bulk entry from the completed forms.

    Also, because this question came from a primary school, we added the option of an additional column to be included (such as Lunch choice).

    Here's a simple A4 landscape learner list report that uses the selected theme to define it's heading and highlighted colours.

    Parameters include Academic year, Group Type and Group Code.

    After 2 days of training in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) I have now written my first report.
    I wanted it to be useful but also to keep it simple what with it being my first venture into SSRS. As any of you who work with school's MIS databases will know the many different types of data that is recorded, so I decided to go for a report based on learner data.
