  1. Monday +1

    by , 31st March 2008 at 10:14 AM
I hate it when the clocks go forward... was rudely awakened by the alarm this morning... and I didn't want to get up.

On account of me being disorganised I have failed to buy any breakfast things for myself and I am currently starving to death. Luckily colleague will be nipping to Lidl in an hour or so.

I could go to tesco express but I'm just too lazy! Mmmm potato cakes.

    I like food.

  3. Coffee + Work = stress

    by , 26th March 2008 at 04:35 PM
I think coffee makes me more stressed... I swear I could kill some people today.

    Lots of people.

I want to quit but I can't because there are bills to pay

I need to get my sky cancelled on account of it being a total RIP OFF.

    Don't get sky!

  4. Let there be light..

....or not in this case. One of my UPS' overloaded with perfect timing on Thursday night, taking the Web Server and the Citrix farm with it. So we had 4 days of downtime on the VLE. But it could of been worse, it could of been coming up to GCSE exams.

Now I'd like to fix this properly, I really would. But the particular place we've chosen to install this server rack has some issues with power distribution. Basically even if I did sort out the UPS I would have no where to run power ...
  5. Sky and their incompetent salesmen

    by , 25th March 2008 at 09:52 AM
So got sky installed on Monday. Thing is salesman insisted that we didn't need a bt line and that you didn't have to pay £11 a month... it's like £4... (lie)

"You have a BT Line", I'm pretty sure we don't... but whatever. (We don't have a BT line)

So gonna ring BT up and see how much it would be to activate a line. Is it £85??

    Hope not.

Anyone know anyone who works for BT in the Burnley area?! hehe.

    Actually there ...
  6. IT Teachers

    by , 21st March 2008 at 11:53 AM
Year 7, 8 and 9 I was taught by IT Teachers who only knew about MS Office applications, well they knew as much as the book they was reading from told them. I was disgusted that someone could call themselves an IT Teacher but when asked "How do I fix this problem?" they knew nothing, absolutely nothing, they not even know how to install RAM.

I moved into Year 10 and decided to do BTEC ICT, I thought that I would be taught by teachers who knew about hardware and have looked ...
  7. I hate you!!! grrrr!

    by , 20th March 2008 at 12:57 AM
I thought today - if I had a blog, I'd say how much I hate these damn Chelsea Taxis everywhere (4x4 off road baby buggies), having travelled behind a couple straining like tractors down our quaint local rural roads.

    So there it is.

  9. Grow Up

    by , 19th March 2008 at 05:18 PM
It amazes me even though I am in Year 10 how many people in my ICT Class are so immature. Doing things such as:

    • Causing error messages on your computer
    • Turning of the computer when you are doing important work
    • Modifying your startup folder so "Gay" pops up
    • Calling you "Gay"
    • Just being themselves.

I am guilty to the modifying startup folder but come one most of these things are what you do in Year 7. I can imagine them when they are like ...
