well what can i say
I hate Microsoft unfortunately this is my 3rd attempted at my windows 7 70-680 exam and i got yet again a score of 646. I feel like Iím on one of them marathons where you "hit the wall". for the people are about to take the windows 7 exam donít take it lightly donít think it will be the same as the xp one because if you go into thinking that then you might as well put your money down the drain because it is hard and Iím not ashamed to admit that.
We have used the DigiBlue cameras for some years because of their excellent animation facility - the kids love it. But we are changing over to Win7 and as yet there are no drivers for them.
Anyone got a recommendation for replacement camera??
So, yet again I find myself starting my blog with "Ive not written in ages, and here's why..."...!
Well, first off - Ive moved workplaces. A number of you will already know that - but this blog is going to concentrate on essentially the setup of a new network on the side of the old one!
Why did I move on? Well, after 5 years, all that could be achieved had been - and the system which Id written from scratch (ably assisted by my senior) was in a good state
First blog post, but this is a subject I don't feel comfortable butting into other threads with or a forum thread of it's own, It's entirely opinion and as a result, people are free to reply with their own opinions or ignore it
My thoughts on "The Cloud" have always been fairly negative, and it's highly unlikely my opinion will change on it until the UK's internet infrastructure is 1. up to it and 2. when 1. is able to do away with the home computer as a fat client.

Another year has been and gone for the EduGeek Conference. Set every year near Preston in the Summer Half-Term, education professionals from around the country came to mingle, share ideas and listen to the talks put on by suppliers and fellow professionals. Here is a quick recap:
(Please note these are personal opinions of the talks!) Data Protection: Dos_Box's brother, known on here as Drummer Boy, gave a good talk about the data protection act regarding the myths

Well, it's about 6 weeks since I put my first blog piece up, so thought that now would be a good time to continue.
Does the general theme continue?
You'd think so, from recent events!
Things have actually been improving. After all that had happened, and being very down, I was introduced to a family friend, who'd also had a bit of a rough time, and we clicked. Straight away! So, things were starting to get a lot more positive. Ok, so she lives 100 miles
I'm potentially looking to bring in either a gap-year or a trainee ICT Technician.
I might only get approval for one year at the outset so I was wondering if anyone had experience of doing that recently and if there were any channels to get help, advice or even suitable candidates.
I do have the occasional rant about things. Most of the time it is down to having passion about things I believe in or it is intend to grab the attention of others to make them think. At TeachMeet Midlands 2011 it was a bit of both. Read more
