    I've posted a new blog post over at my site, detailing how to get a human readable error message out of WCF services in Silverlight. So, instead of being told 'NotFound' for every issue that occurs, you will actually see that you've got permission issues, or missing file issues.

    I commend Gary Clawson from the North West Grid for Learning for his recent report about how, in these stringent times, the use of Open Source and Open Content can saves schools and LAs significant amounts of money.

    So recently our main ICT suite came up for its 4 year renewal. We use ACER 6410 laptops in there and they have done a good job over the years. Now I like these laptops a lot but they are showing signs of age with 512mb or Ram and slow 5200rpm hard disks.
