Just been asked if I still want to work at 'Lanway' a company in Burnley fixing laptops and Q1's and computers and stuff.

Pro's

- Get training!
- Slightly More Money!
- Stuff to do (that I like)
- Get away from BSF/Kids
- Closer to home
- Don't have to install the 150 machines at summer

Con's

- Prefer me to stay fixing pc's forever
- Were apprehensive of female employee

- ...

Damn you cold virus!!! I thought I had foiled it when my sore throat went away but now my nose is bearing the brunt.

Hopefully it is snotty because of dust or something... Maybe I should blow it...

Tuesdays are rubbish! (as is pretty much every week day) I've had to do stuff today!! Like replace mice, replace toners and switch on computers!! MAN!

Get home and do nothing!! (Well maybe tidy up a bit... it's getting a bit of a mess!).

So didn't get the job at BFC... gonna find out why later on today. Hopefully it will be something along the lines of there was someone with better experience than me. At least I got an interview though!

Not going to look for a job just yet untill we find out if we are moving or not... should find that out this week!

Anyone ever been? what's it like?

So I went for an interview on Tuesday and I thought it went rather well. I got told I would find out about it either on tuesday or wednesday... only I haven't been told yet. After speaking with my Uncle, who's partner works at the place where I had the interview... and who's sister went for an interview... he said that no news is good news.... whatever that means?!

I really want this job! My work place would be this massive reception area with a big desk and the opposite wall is glass ...

Yay! Boycotting the canteen.... wonder how long that will last...

Got me a pasta pot and a couple of yoghurts.. hopefully it won't make my belly rumble in my interview at 3!

Bought myself a shiny suit for this interview... that is how much I want the job! :P

oooh interview on Tuesday for a 'Haven Administrator' which is a posh title for receptionist/secetary. Pays more than here so not fussed. Also would enable me to save lots of cash on not using petrol and get fit at the same time, because the job is at the football club, and that just happens to be where my gym is! Also in walking distance of new house... if we ever get to move!

Don't think I've got a jobsie that I was confident about... someone scored better on some technicial questions asked...

Got asked about repairing laptops and stuff... which I don't often do at work and I managed to repair a machine (after some prompting to look at the front of it - even though I got it to boot up fine)

They liked the fact I was confident and they said I would fit in well... but there was a bit of apprehension because I was female

Got an interview for "IT Repair Technician" at a local firm tomorrow. Same money, but hopefully more job progression prospects. Can't stay a tekkie forever!

Just hope I get something before the holidays are up! Then I can hand in my notice. Might actually speak to someone about that today to see what I do... and what to do if nobody is in school!

Unfortunately that will mean I'm not an official "Edugeek", but I'm sure nobody will mind me hanging ...

Got through the day without being got. However, I didn't get anyone either

Saw someone being got though... which was most amusing!

aaaaaah go home now and tend to Chirpies... he needs powdering and then I think i'll clean him out. He hates it when I hold him... sulks at me for ages afterwards!! Hehe... silly birdy!
