(Almost) half way through Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. What an enormous book. That is all.
Well, this book is becoming quite a chore. I was initially drawn to the book because of large number of its quotes sprinkled throughout the net. I find the characters cold and one dimensional. The characters seem to be a vehicle for Rand's political views, which on the face of it seem to have some merit, but recent events have proven laissez faire market forces immoral and prone to implode. I haven't even got to John Galt yet. I've started on Watership Down. I might return to Atlas Shrugged, but not before I finish WD.
