Saw one for the first time two weeks ago in Toys'R'Us and was surprised at how sturdy the thing felt, and how much it actually felt like a full sized laptop. Playing a movie on it was stunning too. And there was a queue of kids lining up to have a go on it, whilst the Wii and XBox stands were dead.
That's good for another year!

I am still undecided about it yet but I like the idea. I have had various battlefields in the past and yeh EA is a joke when it comes to patches (where did BF2142 1.5 go?) but at least it wont cost me anything to experience the *EA* patch effect

I haven't been to a festival since Download 2006.... went to watch metallica... waiting all day in the blistering sun, watching poo bands... constantly applying suncream and dust to my skin... then metallica came on late... played only a few songs. I was pissed off... (glad i've seen them before!) Trudged back to my car as they came back on with sad but true and drove home in great discomfort for 3 hours because i had sunburn on tiny bits of places where i had failed to put cream... To get me to go to a festival again I will have to go with a lot of people and there would have to be a lot of good bands on!! (I'd submit a pic, but they are at home!)

Agree completely. I have just confiscated one of the ones we gave out to kids, as they somehow managed to break the mouse button within 2 days of having it! I had it for a month before that, and rigorously tested it, so they must be incredibly destructive kids. So, that kid no-longer is allowed a school laptop, as this is the third he's broken.
